SoftecRegional trade association for the Software and Computer hardware industry. Established in 1994 this group has approximately 1,700 individual members and 150 member companies. Event costs vary from free open house events to dinners at local restaurants. Meeting size varys from 25-100 people.
Meeting: 3rd Wednesday 6-9pm (Jan-Sept), Nov+Dec meeting is held first Wednesday of December SLO CAMA - San Luis Obispo Creative & Marketing AllianceTrade group of creative and marketing professionals and students in San Luis Obispo County. Founded in 2004 by several graphic design and communications professionals looking to reach out to others in the industry, SLOCAMA is quickly becoming the premiere forum and resource for creative marketing collaboration and networking.
Meeting: 3rd Tuesday of the month at 5:30 sharp Santa Maria Manufacturer's AssociationCreated as a special interest group under the Santa Maria EDA this group continues to meet on a monthly basis discussing issues of interest to the manufacturers in the region. In 2006 the group associated with the SMV Chamber.

Society of Technical Communicators - SLO STCSLO STC is the San Luis Obispo county chapter of the Society for Technical Communication (www.stc.org, the largest organization of its kind in the world with about 18,000 members in over 150 international chapters. Meeting: Second Tuesday 5:30 to 7:30 pm. Local Chambers of CommerceLocal chambers are great networking resources for any business and our communities are blessed with many great chambers.
