When Steve Enna and Dennis Wooten, owners of EW Partners (now HR Your Way), a Pleasanton, CA based HR Firm were ready to begin their transition to retirement they had clear goals – to find a way to ensure the successful brand they had worked so hard to develop would continue and to make the transition as seamless as possible for their clients. Those goals meant finding a buyer who shared their passion for providing high level HR management services and excellent customer service delivered by highly skilled HR professionals. They knew exactly where to look.
They reached out to Sandra Dickerson, owner and CEO of Your People Professionals (YPP), headquartered in Santa Maria, CA. For more than 25 years YPP has been a leader in providing Human Resources Management services to small and medium size businesses both locally and throughout CA, earning the respect of HR professionals and a diverse client base. Steve and Dennis knew they were the right fit to carry on the EW Partners brand. The two firms had a successful history of working together on high level HR projects and their teams share a high touch customer service philosophy that is customized to meet the needs of each client.
Effective April 1, EW Partners was acquired by YPP and officially became EW Partners, Inc. Dennis and Steve will remain an integral part of the team, providing strategic consulting to existing and new clients of both companies, with Sandra now the CEO of EW Partners, Inc. as well as continuing as CEO of YPP. The skilled EW staff will remain as will the Pleasanton office located in the historic downtown area.
Sandra was confident the acquisition of EW Partners was the logical next step in her vision for the growth and development of YPP. As CEO she created a successful business model with an emphasis on collaboration, high touch client service and community involvement. Sandra served many years in government affairs and leadership for YPP’s core industry association. She is a member of the California and American Bar Associations, Immediate Past President of the Board for the United Way of Northern Santa Barbara County and the Organizing Committee Chair for EconAlliance. She leads a strong team of HR professionals who share their commitment to providing small and medium size businesses an extensive menu of high quality outsourced HR services that are affordable and effective.
